We look forward to seeing all the interpretations of the "Apple" pictured to the left.

ABOUT OWEGO

Owego was founded in 1787 and was once one of the larger cities outside of NYC. The Southern Tier of New York is the birthplace of Rod Serling, John D. Rockefeller and Richard Deacon. The Southern Tier can also call itself the birthplace of IBM. The Kirby Community Band makes its home in Nichols and is one of the oldest community bands east of the Mississippi.

Owego has many fine dining spots including the Jailhouse Restaurant, which was once the local jail, and the Treadway Inn, location of the Exhibit.

The Southern Tier is often called the "Gateway to the Finger Lakes" and its Wine Country. Carousels are also a big part of culture in the region, claiming to be the Carousel Capital of the World.
