Our Challenge Pattern
Since 2002 each National Exhibit has had a challenge pattern. This pattern is hooked to show the creative ability of the rug hooking community.
The first challenge was a chicken, which followed by a pumpkin in 2004. The 2006 Exhibit challenge was a pig.
The apple was chosen as our challenge as it is one of the symbols representing the Southern Tier and, of course, the "Big Apple."
We look forward to seeing all the interpretations of the "Apple" pictured to the left.
